Social Sunglasses

For my UI and UX project I worked with a team of 5 other people to create a pair of smart sunglasses that is able to help you communicate better socially as well as give your prompts in live time and have familiar faces saved and reads the emotions of each person giving active feedback.

Audience

We wanted to create this product for people who suffer from anxiety, social anxiety, lack of confidence or people who want to learn to become more social and create a world that can be more social with each other

Ideation

We thought about creating these glasses to primarily just read expressions on peoples faces but felt we want to help people more than that by giving more features such as giving live feedback based on topics and indication on when to join a conversation.

Final Design

The final design was to create the app for these sunglasses that will pair the glasses to your phone, show the relationships with different people you have, live replay from social encounters through the day, device storage and cloud settings

When we conducted user research and interviewed people, they would talk about being shy in public, not knowing anyone in public and feeling insecure about themselves to even talk to someone so we made sure to create features that help each of these problems

Feedback

We chose to create the app with soft round rectangles and corners to give the app an easy look to the user and a modern touch visually. We chose to use white and gray as 2 colors to contrast the blue the best and give the app and product an identity

Design Choices

We were able to create the app design using Figma, conduct user research interviews, create user interface maps, and journey flow maps
